Senior Environment AdvisorOur Building business is looking for a Senior Environment Advisor to support our team in London. You will guide the project team in delivering Skanska requirements, lead the assurance programme to deliver compliance and industry-leading performance, lead excellent environmental management practice and continuous improvement of project performance through design, procurement and construction and support the Skanska Environment team in promoting Skanska UK Environment Strategy.

You'll have a broad range of responsibilities:

* Promote continuous improvement of environmental performance on specific projects

* Implement, monitor and report the OWOW requirements on the relevant Skanska projects

* Provide advice, support and assistance to all project personnel to enable them to manage their environmental responsibilities.

* Assist in the development and delivery of suitable environmental training for all project staff.

* Represent and promote the Environment Department in meetings, workshops, management reviews and forums.

* Raise environmental awareness and community relations awareness (where appointed)

* Support external liaison (reality checks, audits, clients)

* Develop project environmental management plans as required

* Develop and communicate best practice case studies

* Act as company environmental representative with project clients, providing support and responding to queries

* Liaise with external parties (Local Authorities, Environmental Regulators etc) as required

* Co-ordinate Considerate Constructors information and report on Community Relations (where appointed)

* Support the delivery of BREEAM/LEED/WELL certification, if required, on projects including the assimilation of monthly data

We're looking for:

* Degree level in appropriate Environmental discipline (ideal

* Construction Industry Experience (ideal)

* Full driving licence

* Moderate IT skills

* Relevant CSCS Card

* BREEAM knowledge

* LEED knowledge (ideal)

* WELL Building knowledge (Ideal)
