Excellent opportunity for an Energy & Sustainability Consultant to join a close-knit sustainability team of a FTSE 100 business. This is a unique role as whilst there’s the typical focus around energy modelling (IES) and sustainability consultancy (BREEAM), the successful incumbent will also have the opportunity to gain exposure to district heating networks and energy auditing.
So this is a diverse opportunity and also one where you will have the prospect of working on some significant and varied projects. It would suit someone who doesn’t want to be pigeon holed.
As a pre-requisite, applicants should be able to demonstrate strong energy modelling experience in either or both of IES and TAS. Ideally you will be a qualified LCEA to level 5. You’ll also ideally benefit from on-construction SAP experience (OCDEA) and be a qualified BREEAM Assessor. Applicants should possess strong project management communication and client facing skills and you will be able to work autonomously.
Our client really wants a Sustainability Consultant who can work closely with the M&E teams to assist with more complex energy infrastructure projects, so someone who has prior experience of working in an M&E environment would be ideal.
What’s more, we would love to hear from those who have knowledge and/or experience of energy auditing and management and specifically ESOS. Knowledge of the WELL standard and BREEAM AP accreditations would be the icing on the cake.
Most of the team is based in Manchester so that would be the preferred location but with offices across the UK, we could also consider those open to roles in the West Midlands or the South East.
