An exceptional opportunity for an Acoustic specialist at Senior grade and above to join a highly regarded international consultancy working within their London team.
Our client is a leading UK and international multi-disciplinary consultancy with a fantastic reputation for providing bespoke quality advice across a range of high profile projects.
Due to continued success our client has an excellent position available to join either their team in London at Senior through to Associate Director level. The successful candidate will be expected to assist in a variety of tasks, enabling delivery of high quality noise and vibration assessments. You will be involved in a wide range of high profile project types, both in the UK and Internationally. The projects are a mix of both buildings and environmental acoustics. You will have input both technically and strategically
·Degree (Science based) or a post grad in acoustics
·Excellent track record working as a Acoustic Consultant within the private sector
·Experience of noise monitoring surveys and the ability to use noise modelling software
·Ability to produce Environmental Impact Assessments and Environmental Noise Assessments
·Experience of NPPF, PPC permitting and BS4142
·Previous experience cost and project management
·Strong report writing skills
·Business development experience
·Experience as an expert witness
Key responsibilities / duties include:
The role will include the supporting the team leader of the acoustics team in a variety of areas, whilst supporting the delivery of high quality technical consultancy and assessment services.
·Working on national and international projects,
·Represent the team at external meetings and conferences
·Be involved with business development
·Prepare noise and vibration technical reports and Environmental Impact Assessments
·Prepare Environmental Permitting compliance reports
·Promote noise services internally, within the wider company
