Due to their ambitious growth plans our client is looking to appoint an experienced Air Quality Consultant to establish a national Air Quality Team. The business is a specialist consultancy with a fantastic reputation in providing technical, strategic, environmental and consenting advice to organisations operating within the conventional and renewable projects in the energy sector.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years' experience working in consultancy with the ability to proactively develop business and manage a specialist team.
*Desk based air quality and dust impact assessments
*Supporting the Environmental Impact Assessment process
*Supporting the environmental permitting process
*Preparing Air Quality Management Plans
*Supporting strategic projects or due diligence reviews through provision of specialist advice.
It is expected that, on average, around 75% of time would be spent on project work with the remainder spent on sales activities, business development activities and in training and supporting colleagues.
Manchester, Newcastle or Glasgow
Capabilities and Qualifications:
Candidate must have:
*A degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
*Full Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management (IAQM), or qualification to become such a member.
*Practical experience of energy projects.
*Experience in a leading role
*Ability to interpret client requirements and manage and deliver sometimes difficult or complex projects to their satisfaction.
*Experience in engaging proactively with clients to deliver new business opportunities as well as maintaining current relationships.
