How, in practice, can we transform the world to sustainability? That’s our Vision… and it’s huge! It’ll require business to be done in a different way. It’ll require people to develop different skills and new capabilities. It’ll need new thinking and ways of doing things. It’ll need constant change.

If you’re excited by helping to shape a sustainable future, and you’re an ambitious and passionate advocate for sustainability, you might well be the perfect person to join our team. As the world’s largest environment and sustainability professional body,  IEMA’s 14,000+ members from over 100 countries together use their skills, knowledge and experience to transform their organisations and resolve the conflicting challenges that society now faces: people, planet and profit. In doing so they are making their specific contribution to the climate change and sustainability objectives set by world leaders. The environment and sustainability profession will be one of the most important of the 21st century. We are going through a hugely exciting period of change and growth and are looking to attract high-calibre professionals into our team to achieve our ambitious plans for the future.

You will play a key role in influencing and building relationships with Government, IEMA members from both a corporate and individual perspective, and a range of other key external stakeholders. You will come with excellent knowledge of sustainability tools and disciplines and a track record in stakeholder engagement. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with experience of working across multiple teams to achieve organisational objectives will come naturally to you.

This is a dynamic role with exciting challenges, and equally, an opportunity for an individual to make a tangible difference and leave their legacy on a rapidly developing and critically important profession.
