Exceptional opportunity town planner who is close to being/recently chartered to work on some of the most significant infrastructure and energy projects in the UK. The role will provide the chance to be involved in some of the most challenging and cutting edge projects across the built and environmental sectors including Hinkley Point C, the A303 Stonehenge tunnel and framework that include the HCA and National Grid.
The ideal candidate will need to have gained consultancy experience in a similar role. Experience in DCO, Policy, Development Management and Economics will of particular interest. In return you can expect to receive excellent reward package, flexible benefits and market leading salary.
Capabilities and Qualifications:
Candidate must be:
*Educated to degree level, with relevant professional qualifications and Membership of the RTPI.
*A good understanding of the EIA process
*Able to demonstrate a high level of planning knowledge and the ability to undertake a variety of casework;
Candidate must have:
*Considerable proven experience in a similar role
*Excellent problem solving, communication, negotiation and writing skills;
The following attributes would be desirable.
*Detailed knowledge of management tools and techniques
*Detailed knowledge of relevant legislation and its application
*Effective operation and development of management systems for quality, financial and project controls
