The successful applicant will have 1-3 years consultancy post graduate experience of undertaking site investigation, groundwater and ground gas monitoring, sample collection activities, supervision of contractors, and Phase 1 and Phase 2 contaminated land risk assessment and reporting. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day management and delivery of projects working closely with and being supported by team members, Project Managers and Directors. Ideally you will have a master's degree or equivalent in a geo-environmental discipline and be progressing towards Chartership with a relevant professional institution.
*Effective project delivery as part of project team.
*Contribute to project plans and ability to follow them with guidance.
*Awareness and understanding of the business strategy and drivers.
Capabilities and Qualifications:
Candidate must have:
*An understanding of prevailing contaminated land technical guidance.
*An understanding of fieldwork techniques for sample collection and monitoring.
*An understanding of different reporting requirements and styles.
*Ability to organise and analyse technical data.
*Understands the importance of prioritising safety, health and environmental issues.
*Understand HSE systems, e.g. risk assessment.
*Has commenced a route to professional membership.
*Understanding of the importance of the business development strategy.
