A global, multidisciplinary consultancy are looking for a Flood Risk consultant to join the growing Environmental team in London. Assisting the team, to help on their growing number of projects working with architects, planners, property developers and property investors.  This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further their career with a well-established business and a highly respected Environmental team.

The main duties of the role will include; preparing Flood Risk Assessments, Sustainable Drainage Strategies, Hydrology & Flood Risk chapters for Environmental Statements and designing flood and drainage mitigation measures. This role will also open you up to opportunities to assist in project management and developing business with new clients.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Environmental Science or Hydrology (or similar) and 1-2 years of professional experience. Experience preparing NPPF compliant Flood Risk Assessments & Sustainable Drainage Strategies and a solid understanding of the UK planning and guidance documents: Planning Practice Guidance, NPPF, TAN15 and SPP7.
