Environmental Scientist / Consultant (2 years + experience within the contaminated land industry)

Our client is a privately owned, award winning remediation contractor who has over 20 years proven experience in providing specialist advice and undertaking quality site investigations and remediation projects.Operating across the UK with their office based in Surrey, this client provides services including remediation, site investigation and risk assessment to various petrochemical companies, retailers, government departments, and land and property owners.
About the position:
Due to present and anticipated workload, our client has identified the need to expand their team and therefore is recruiting permanently for an Environmental Scientist / Consutlant to assist with the technical delivery and verification of remediation projects. This position will incorporate a mix of office based working and site based working and the successful individual will be involved in remediation projects from cradle to grave – i.e. from tender stage through to submittal of completion.
About the Requirements:
In order to be considered for this opportunity, it is imperative that individuals have at least 2 years post graduate experience whilst working within a contaminated land discipline with a contractor or consultancy and ideally a significant portion of this time will have been spent in remediation or on site, carrying out sampling, site investigations etc. Additionally, individuals must have a working knowledge of a range of remedial technologies and due to the remit of work, must hold a full valid UK driving license.
About the rewards / benefits:
For this role we are targeting candidates looking to earn anywhere between £25,000 – £30,000 per annum, however specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package offered in addition to other benefits associated with a large successful contractor.
