Your new company 
you will be working for a local authority in Nottinghamshire who need interim cover for a Environmental Health Officer.

Your new role 
you will be working as an environmental health officer for a local authority. You will be responsible for inspecting private rented properties using HHSRS rating system and producing repairs schedules. As well as this you will be required to take formal and informal enforcement action under the housing act 2004 and environmental protection act 1990.

What you'll need to succeed 
You will need to hold a qualification in environmental health and ideally hold  EHRB registration and have experience in enforcement. You will hold a full driving licence and have detailed knowledge of HHSRS. It is also beneficial if you have knowledge in eviction legislation, tribunal experience, and knowledge of identifying housing defects and appropriate remedial works.

What you'll get in return 
You will receive a 5 week+ contract working 37 hours (flexible) per week. Rate of pay is negotiable depending on experience.
