As Corporate Responsibility Manager, you will have overall responsibility as the CR lead within CITB.
Key elements of the role include providing technical expertise, advice and direction to the Board, Executive and Leadership Team to enable the development and continual improvement of the corporate responsibility and sustainability strategy and policy. You will also be expected to develop and manage an effective CR programme that embeds CR into core business operations, and produce the annual CR and Sustainability report.
This position currently has no line management responsibilities, although there is a responsibility to exercise leadership qualities with both the CR leadership Group and the wider organisation.
The successful individual will be educated to degree level or have an equivalent qualification in a relevant subject, and be a member of a relevant professional body such as IEMA or ICRS. You will also be able to demonstrate that you have:
•Proven track record of developing, managing and delivering CR projects in or for a large complex organisation.
•Well-developed knowledge of organisational governance frameworks in terms of reporting, policy and regulatory landscape in relation to CR.
•Strong analytical and data capture skills using software such as excel.
•Well-developed negotiating, impacting and influencing skills.
•Skilled communicator with good written, verbal and presentation skills.
•Experience of interpreting regulation and legislation specific to CR.
