Reigate or London - Hybrid (40% based)
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our business and manage and maintain our sustainability strategy.
Just is committed to building a more sustainable business and have publicly committed to reduce our scope 3 emissions to Net Zero by 2050 and our scope 1 and 2 emissions to Net Zero by 2025. As our Sustainability Strategy Manager, you will ensure that we maintain a coherent sustainability strategy aligned to the our overall purpose and strategy, that there are plans in place to implement that strategy, and that the plans are monitored, reported communicated to internal and external stakeholders appropriately.
This would be an ideal role for someone in a similar role looking to join a FTSE 250 business, or someone with a financial reporting background who is looking to focus on more sustainability reporting

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor external trends and developments, considers implications for the group and make recommendations accordingly
- Maintain a register of risks to the successful implementation of the sustainability strategy
- Monitor and facilitate progress of sustainability programs consistent with strategies, goals, measurements and reporting standards
- Report on sustainability and ESG to the Board and executive committee
- Define and get agreement for appropriate internal and external targets and metrics to monitor and demonstrate strategic progress
- Develop and facilitate discussion of the Group's sustainability strategy for discussion and recommendation by the Group Executive and approval by the Group Board
- Ensure our sustainability strategy and principles are appropriately embedded and reflected in internal policies and procedures, in order to embed sustainability considerations into day to day thinking and decision making
- Manage our group reporting of sustainability externally
- Oversee delivery of our tactical sustainability initiatives, liaising with relevant functions and committees as required to identify and progress opportunities
- Work with Internal Communications to develop communication and engagement strategies for the organization's sustainability vision and program information and our CSR programme and charity partnerships align with broader sustainability strategy and priorities
- Work with the group Investor Relations team to optimise the group's sustainability ratings and identify any areas of improvement
Skills and Experience:
- Experience and knowledge working in either the strategy in the sustainability field or financial reporting with suitability, gained in the Financial services sector
- Demonstrable experience of engagement with both internal and external stakeholders at a senior level
- Ability to work across functional boundaries
- Ability to think strategically, whilst being willing to "pitch in" with a hands-on approach
- An understanding of corporate strategy and financial performance
- Strong influencing and engagement skills
- A recognised sustainability certification (desirable)
- Degree level qualification(desirable)
