About the Position
Based in our Nottingham or London office, we have a great opportunity for a graduate to join our expanding Environment team. You will provide input on delivery of projects, expanding the capability in the region and supporting the ongoing activities of a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy.
GHD's UK Environment team supports clients operating across most industrial sectors, addressing a variety of environmental issues, including:
You would be part of the Impact Assessment and Permitting Team and would be able to work across multiple technical disciplines as workload demands, on a journey to become a well-rounded environmental consultant.
Working with Technical Directors and Service Group Manager with support from the wider team, you will be involved in, and leading, an exciting variety of work. The role is comprised of a variety of environmental professional service tasks and responsibilities and will see you involved in delivering health, safety, and environmental management services for planning and consenting, permitting and regulatory compliance, and monitoring and management services related to project approvals. The projects you will be involved in will be varied, ranging in complexity, subject areas, and sectors of industry. It could involve enabling a client to transform a manufacturing site to a wholly different use, permitting the decommissioning of a large industrial site with competing needs, or supporting the development of new technology towards a sustainable future use.

- Draw on your technical knowledge to solve routine problems with guidance from senior team members

- Help develop our business through good client relationships and ensuring client loyalty and repeat work through excellent customer service and delivery.

- Have a degree qualification in a relevant discipline
- Be highly numerate with a focus on problem solving and data analysis
- Have strong communication skills and enjoy working in a collaborative environment
- Have excellent report writing and presentation skills
