Deputy Energy Manager
Salary Details
The starting salary will be from £41,732 on Grade F, depending on qualifications and experience.
Package Details

Sustainability Team within the Finance, Infrastructure and Commercial Services Division
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
We welcome applications from candidates interested in working part-time hours or job-sharing arrangements.
This new full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis.
Summary of the role
An exciting opportunity has risen to join the growing Sustainability Team and help shape the sustainability performance of a world-class institution with the aim of being a leader on the environment and climate crisis. The main purpose of the role is the planning and monitoring the University’s energy consumption and utility expenditure. They will assist the Head of Carbon and Energy in the development and delivery of programmes, projects and policies that make a major contribution to achieving the University’s net zero target.
