Our Environment teams offer a broad spectrum of environmental planning expertise across multi-faceted projects across the UK. Due to a substantial growth in our business, we have a new range of exciting projects which have created some excellent opportunities for Environmental Planners / EIA Consultants to join our friendly and supportive teams. 

We have the flexibility to consider candidates across all levels and all locations across the UK for the best professionals in the industry with a passion for EIA, sustainable development and consultancy. This is an exciting time to join one of the UK’s leading development consultancies with a wide range of projects across a wide range of development sectors. The right individual can make a significant contribution to the growth of the Environment team. 

Depending on your level of experience, you will be involved in EIA project management and co-ordination, along with delivering environmental statements and appraisals to programme and financial budget. The role will involve supporting the management and coordination of multidisciplinary teams and provide professional advice to clients, local planning authorities and other statutory bodies. Other responsibilities may also include public consultation, monitoring of planning applications and working on planning appeals.

Person Specification

We are looking to take on a number of Environmental Planners / EIA Consultants (at all levels) to develop the Environment services across the UK. We seek candidates that can demonstrable work experience in EIA project management and co-ordination, ideally in relation to large scale residential and commercial led development projects. You will hold a relevant degree / degrees preferably in environmental impact assessment or a related subject and be a member of a relevant professional institution. 

Candidates will have a thorough understanding of a range of technical disciplines, along with good knowledge of the UK planning processes, UK EIA legislation and best practice guidelines.
