The University of Cambridge is seeking a knowledgeable and committed individual to join the University's Sustainability Team as Carbon Manager. The Sustainability Team is a dynamic and committed team that works with stakeholders across the University and beyond, to help the University achieve its vision to make a positive impact through outstanding environmental sustainability performance and deliver on its commitment to become zero carbon by 2048.

The role holder will develop and implement long-term strategies, policies and projects to reduce the University's carbon emissions and support delivery of the Carbon Reduction Strategy. In particular, they will lead on work to monitor and reduce scope 3 carbon emissions.

Candidates should have substantial experience of developing policy and delivering projects in relation to carbon management. They must possess excellent inter-personal and communications skill with proven experience of engaging and working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders. In addition, they must have experience in carbon emission calculation and reporting, and the ability to develop and manage a programme of work.
