Sustainable Business Services (SBS) Sales & Relationship Manager

Salary: £29,679 pro rata
Location: Based in Ipswich, Norwich or Essex
Hours: Part time (15 hours a week)
Contract: 1 year fixed term contract (with potential for extension)

This is a new role in our growing Sustainable Business Services (SBS) team. Groundwork East has over 30 years of experience in delivering bespoke projects that use the environment as a catalyst for building a more sustainable future.  Our SBS products are developing and demand is growing and as a result we are looking for an enthusiastic, professional, adaptable, successful and experienced Sales and Relationship Manager to join our friendly and driven team.

As a Sales and Relationship Manager you will bring experience in a business development setting and a passion for the environment to develop SBS products and secure relationships with customers. You will be target driven, and enjoy the wide degree of flexibility and autonomy that this role allows.

The current SBS product portfolio includes:

  • Environmental audits and reviews
  • Carbon foot-printing
  • Environmental legislation
  • Development of sustainability and carbon management strategies

We know that there is much demand for this type of service and the post holder will share our belief that there are very real opportunities to develop and grow this portfolio. The support within these services includes, but is not restricted to, all aspects of energy efficiency advice, renewable energy, green procurement, business resilience, funding/financial support and Carbon Charter assessments.

The successful candidate will have a proven successful track record in sales and reaching targets and previous sales management experience. In addition, you will have excellent relationship-building and partnership working at high levels in public and private sectors.
